It’s obvious I’m all lit up
Hot and bright in the center,
just like a star
Shiny at first sight;
altruistic and pure of heart
But just imbalanced
My surfaces all unstable
each bone meant to contain me just a reactive chemical,
Become viscous with heat.
All quivering in my chest
in igneous sheets
I can hardly contain the toxicity
Nor push it to my freezing extremities
When we get close, cosmic rays make us blind
And all anyone can see is the threat of Death on me
And not the sweet spark of life
Just gravitational waves
Consuming everything into little bits of flame
