This is just a little combo of inspirations... essentially fiction
Give me heat
a green lamp on the bedside table
glows warm and yellow
my atoms are coming out of place
particularly on my shoulders, my inner thighs, and my fingertips
the static happened on the drive home from the beach
we sat at the bridge for ten minutes
knees touching, staring at the amber
towering high and streaming by
The movements were too surreal to do anything
but overlap our experience
knees touching
He speaks so well
I play him the line; words alone never could save us...
and they didn't so he died
We're going down to the Mississippi in the morning
but now it's late and we're spinning records
The bed is yellow and the corners of the room
are all orange and purple with streaming lights
even at 3am the streets are always busy
We watch and listen and let our bodies relax
our thoughts empty out and our energies intertangle
and the smallest touch smashes our borders
skin is just the context
and we are everywhere around it
In a way you can not articulate
like you specify time
the moments are transcendental and infinite
each beat with his hand in mine
Nothing wrong with changing the uptake
specifically designed to enhance my capacity to feel
when everything else pushes me to be numb
I just work the happiness chemicals
you know its biological
the language is overated
Words alone never could save us
The best is the expression
the notes and the bass tones
the body mechanics and facial gestures
the pulse rate and rhythm
the exchange of energy
Just let the grooves run thin
we're going to the Mississippi in the morning
but now this moment's infinite
the mattress on the floor
the postcards on the wall
a careful selection of nicnacs, lake rocks, and candles
a soft light on the table
precariously stacked books on theory and revolution,
they will always be this way
The breathe has gone from me
I left my body
and came back to exist with each reminder of my contour
each subtle line coexisting outside my mind
material and incorporal
come on let's get lost
