bodies, Cosmic

You Hold On So Tight

The more you question the lighter you become
til no grip to logic or memory or reality
could save you
from being swept away in a strong breeze
in that place where we went to forget our bodies
and have no troubles
laying on a soft bed of decomposition
under that canopy with me

 You Hold On So Tight

As you climb the stratosphere
you begin to see it all as separate;
space, light, wind, matter
And somewhere in the middle divine intelligences
creep in and out of dimensions
gathering observations

You start to feel your body tearing out into planes
as you enter outer space
Eventually your body completely fades away,
somewhere around Neptune
But still you're there
I still feel you

Not with words because you have no tongue to speak
and not with sound because you have no feet to beat
and Not with love
because now you belong to everything
And I guess I couldn't articulate because
as far as I can tell
you're no longer anything
as far as I can tell you only exist
because I believe it to be true

and

If anything,
Hold least tightly onto Truth
